Who we are
This policy is issued by Tap4Print Private Limited, Patel Nagar, Central Delhi, Delhi 110008, India. You can reach us at tap4printofficial@gmail.com or +91 83685 14168. We operate self-service printing kiosks and the tap4print.com website, wallet, and operator admin.
If you use a kiosk as a guest, we still process the minimum data needed to complete that print job and, if required, a refund. Creating an account is optional and is explained in How Tap4Print works.
What personal data we collect
Account and OTP: phone number or email, name, and a hashed one-time password used only to sign in. We do not write OTP codes to application logs.
Guest print: name and phone so we can match a failed job to a refund request.
Wallet: credit and debit ledger entries, balance, and idempotency keys so the same recharge or print payment cannot be applied twice.
Print jobs: paper size, color mode, duplex, copies, page count, amount, tax, kiosk id, and status. This is operational metadata, not the contents of your PDF after the file is deleted.
Documents: the PDF or image you upload or the PDF created from a scan, stored on a short-lived URL until print completes or the retention window expires.
Device and security: session cookies, kiosk session ids, and basic request metadata used to prevent abuse.
How we use data
We use data to run the kiosk session, calculate a quote, verify payment, send the job to the printer, show status, process refunds, and operate customer wallet and admin tools. We also use aggregated, non-identifying counts (for example jobs per location) to keep paper and toner stocked.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your document contents for advertising or for training unrelated models.
Document handling and retention
Uploaded files are accepted only as PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG within the size limit configured by Super Admin. Each QR upload is bound to one kiosk session token so another machine cannot receive your file.
Documents are temporary. They are deleted after a successful print or after the configured retention hours (currently 24 hours unless a location is configured otherwise). Abandoned sessions are cleared when the kiosk timeout fires.
Super Admin document access, when it is even possible, requires an explicit reason and is written to the audit log. That is described in more detail on the Security page.
Payments
UPI, card, and net banking are verified with the payment provider. Tap4Print does not store card PANs, CVV, or UPI PINs. Wallet payments debit the ledger only after the same server-side checks used for gateway payments. Printing never starts from a frontend “success” flag.
Refunds follow the Refund policy. Wallet credits return to the same wallet. Gateway refunds are initiated with the provider and then depend on your bank.
Sharing
We share data only with processors who help us operate the product: payment gateways, hosting, SMS or email OTP delivery, and printers at the kiosk you used. Location managers and operators see jobs and device status for sites they are assigned to, not your full document library.
Your rights
You may request access or correction of your account profile, a copy of recent wallet transactions, or closure of a customer account. We may retain payment and job metadata required for tax, dispute, or refund purposes even after a file is deleted.
To exercise rights, email tap4printofficial@gmail.com from the address on the account or include the phone number used for OTP. For a failed print, include the order id shown on the kiosk or in wallet history.
Children
Kiosks are in public places. We do not knowingly create marketing profiles for children. A parent or guardian should complete payment for a minor’s print job.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when retention, processors, or legal details change. The date at the top is the last revision. Questions: tap4printofficial@gmail.com, +91 83685 14168, or the Contact page. Related reading: Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy, and Security.
