Universities need more than one machine. Tap4Print admin already groups locations, kiosks, printers, and operators.
Multi-kiosk operations
A location manager can own one campus cluster. Super Admin sees the whole network.
Research and admin printing
Color A3 at a central hub, B&W A4 at satellite kiosks.
University printing across many kiosks
Universities need more than one machine. Tap4Print admin already groups locations, kiosks, printers, and operators. A location manager can own one campus cluster. Super Admin sees the whole network. That is the operational difference from a single college install.
Put color A3 at a central hub and B&W A4 at satellites. Research posters and admin forms do not belong on the same paper tray strategy. Pricing rules can be global or location-specific — see Pricing.
How students and staff share the network
Students still guest-print or use a wallet. Staff can hold operator roles for paper without becoming a print shop. Libraries on campus should follow library printing so reading rooms stay quiet.
To roll out, write from the estates or library office via Contact and printing kiosk for colleges. We will not list a campus on Locations until the machine is real and hours are set.
