Automated document printing sounds like a button that always works. In public it only works if money and the printer agree. Tap4Print verifies UPI, card, net banking, or wallet on the server, then enqueues the job. The kiosk UI cannot mark a job paid. That closes the usual self-service fraud hole and is restated in the Terms and Security.
If hardware fails after a successful pay, the system creates a refund. Wallet credits return to the wallet. Gateway payments start a provider refund. Read the Refund policy before you assume cash-back at the machine.
What stays human
Automation does not refill A4. Operators manage devices and jobs in admin. They cannot silently skip payment. Paper jams still need a person. That split is why public spaces and hotels can leave a kiosk in a lobby without a business-center clerk.
